For the 2025 Europa tour, we return to the Alps and the most beautiful roads in the world.
The start is in Montreux, Switzerland. The next day we drive beautiful mountain passes to Gstaad and later Susten Pass to Andermatt and the über luxurious CHEDI Andermatt hotel.
As always, the tour has a mix of breathtaking Alpine passes, some that we have visited before and some new. We will drive in Switzerland and Italy before heading south for the Cote d'Azur with Monaco and Saint-Tropez.
All hotels en route are iconic heavyweight luxury venues. Here is the hotel selection for our 2025 tour:

Each day will be roughly 4 hours of driving. Sometimes less, sometimes a bit more. Besides driving, we will make stops for special activities and events along the road, like vista points, photo opportunities, and so on.
The schedule for each day is breakfast at 9.00, start driving at 10.00, lunch en route, arrival at the hotel during the afternoon and dinner at 20.00.
Welcome to Switzerland and Le Montreux Palace. This is an iconic five-star hotel that hosts the famous jazz festival every year. Arrive in the early afternoon and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Geneva.
We will have a welcome mingle and a driver's briefing at 19:00 on the hotel terrace near the lobby, before we move to the restaurant for dinner at about 20:00.

Today, we start driving. And it is a great driving day! After breakfast in Le Montreux Palace, we go up the mountain towards Gstaad before arriving in Interlaken, where we have lunch at Victoria Jungfrau hotel.
After lunch, we continue towards Andermatt driving both Grimsel and Furka Pass on the way. These two roads are considered to be the very best on the planet.
We arrive at our hotel, The über Luxurious CHEDI, in the late afternoon. Tonight, we have dinner in their highly acclaimed Asian fusion restaurant called The Library.

Our journey continues in an eastward direction, over the Oberalp Pass to Flims, where we stop for lunch at the Waldhaus.
After lunch, we drive Albula and the spectacular Julier Pass to Silvaplana and later St Moritz.
We arrive at Grand Hotel des Bains in the late afternoon. There will be an aperitivo in the hotel bar before dinner at 20:00.

Yet another beautiful driving day, from St Moritz down hill Maloja Pass and later on the western shore of Como Lake.
Tonight we stay at the most elegant hotel in the world, Villa d’Este. Dinner will be in the hotel, in Sala Colonne. Please note that there is a dress code tonight.

Using the superfast Italian Autostrada, we drive south past Milan towards Piacenza, where we stop for lunch.
Then, we drive a scenic route over the mountains towards the Italian Riviera on the extremely entertaining SS653 and SS586.
Arriving at the coast, we drive the beautiful road between Zoagli and Santa Margherita to Excelsior Palace where we stay the night.

Time to hit the road again for a great drive on the Italian Riviera towards Monaco. We will use the A12 motorway, with selected parts of SS1 Via Aurelia to Ventimiglia and finally Monaco.
In Monaco, we stay, check-in at the Fairmont Hotel, and have lunch at Nikki Beach. Tonight's dinner will be in Buddha Bar, next to the hotel.

We have two options on this final day of driving. You can leave the hotel early, drive to Castellane for lunch, or continue to Saint-Tropez on Route Napoleon. This drive is about two hours to Castellane and then another two hours to Saint-Tropez after lunch.
The other option is to sleep in and drive directly to Saint-Tropez from Monaco at lunchtime. After checking in to Hotel Byblos in the afternoon, we have drinks by the pool and then leave for L'Opera in the harbour for dinner at about 19:30.

No driving today. Instead, we have a late breakfast by the pool in Byblos hotel. Later, at about 14:15, transportation will pick us up from the hotel and take us to a beach club where we have lunch (and maybe something to drink). The closing dinner will be in Byblos Hotel by the pool.
