Thank you for the 2018 season. With 14 events, it has been the most intense season since we started in 2005.
The season started with a road trip to the Adriatic coast and Albania. Then, we did Mille Miglia, Nurburgring, Poland, Riga, Skies over Riga in jet fighters, Budapest and Hungaroring, Europa tour, Italy tour, Spa-Francorchamps, two road trips in Tuscany and a food and wine tour in Barolo for connoisseurs.
It has been a crazy ride from the beginning of the season in April, to the final event in November. Your team of organisers is now completely exhausted. Phew!
Counting all events we have organised since 2005 we are now past number 72(!) At the current pace, we will do our 100th event during the autumn of 2020.
We are currently in the final stages of planning the next season. While a majority of the racing tracks - like Nurburgring and Spa-Francorchamps are still awaiting the racing calendar from FIA, we have to await our confirmed dates. A finalised 2019 calendar will be ready and published here in the end of November.
The 2019 calendar will have at least two new and exciting items on the list. The first one will be already 31 January to 3 February, introducing a major city and track to our itinerary. This destination will be unveiled on Sunday the 11th of November at 20:00 here on the web site and in a special newsletter.
There a second thing in the schedule for next year that is worth mentioning at this early stage. This second thing is completely insane. While it is so nuts, this one will be made public in January.
Although awaiting dates from the racing tracks and FIA, some of our road trips already have confirmed dates - Adriatica, Europa and Italia. Information about these you find below. We also have a final and confirmed date from Riga Racetrack.
All the best from the Gran Turismo team, hope to see you next year!
