Lamborghini recently announced their 2024 delivery stats, and things are looking very good for the Italian automaker.
Having delivered 10 000 units in 2023 for the first time, they managed to not only repeat this, but also beat the mark in 2024 by 6% year over year, bringing the total delivery count of 10 687. This makes the past year only the second time in the companys history that they have achieved this feat.
For a company that nowadays seems like an unbeatable luxury brand giant, this repeat success is nothing to disregard. Lamborghini surely remembers the period from its birth leading up to the late 90s, almost constantly spent on the verge of financial collapse. At the time, they were selling between 200 and 300 cars per year, up until they were taken over by the VW AG in July of 1998, which seems to have turned the company around, seeing consistent growth ever since.
The official information is that all three of the 2024 models, the Huracan, Revuelto, and Urus, have achieved consistent growth in regard to sales, however without model-specific numbers. If we were to guess, the Urus which was updated with a hybrid version this past spring - most likely makes the majority part of the sales count, as it has quite unsurprisingly been the best-selling model since its introduction in 2018, accounting for roughly 60 percent of the sales in 2023.
Otherwise Lamborghini has provided sales-numbers, however only on a region basis. Namely, Europe-Middle East-Africa accounts for 4 227 units sold within 2024. The Americas region somewhat less with 3 712, and customers in the Asia-Pacific region purchased 2 748 units. All three regions experienced growth, at 6%, 7% and 3% respectively.
There is no sign of things slowing down for Lamborghinis near future. The Urus and Revuelto should continue to see consistent deliveries in 2025, as they are sold out through 2026+. It is worth noting that the successor to the super-successful Huracan, the Temerario, did not play a part in delivery numbers as the first ones are scheduled for Q1 2026, however is also sold out for 2026+. At the moment it seems to compare well with the Huracan, even if it marked the end of the N/A V10 era, and comes equipped with atwin-turbo V8 HPEV instead.
