With the organsation for the 2025 season in full swing, we took a moment to look back at the past, 2024 season and some stats we managed to collect from the events.
Let's get started.
During the 2024 season the total count of participants came in at 788, this is including the co-drivers.
The number of total hotel nights booked in the past year comes up to 2107. Our Adriatic event takes up nearly 20% of this, with a total of 461 hotel nights on that event alone.
A group of 50 supercars and around 100 people moving across the Adriatic coast is a sight not often seen, but it also means a ridiculous number of hotel rooms, wherever we stay. The 2025 edition of Gran Turismo Adriatica starts in Opatija on the 4th of May. It is fully booked.
The most expensive hotel rooms we booked were in Florence, for the Italia event and also the Toscana event. Villa Cora was awarded the best hotel in Florence by Conde Nast, and is one of the top locations in Italy.
Now lets take a look at the F&B. A grand total of 8 849 meals were served during 2024. The amount of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are all accounted for which comes up to over 600 000 EUR. The most expensive dinner was in Egypt right beside the Great Pyramid of Giza. Four Seasons built a venue especially for us. This was an incredible experience to say the least.
This was for our special event where we privatised two of the most important museums in Egypt, as well as the Sphinx, and the Great Pyramid. A new special event is underway. Invitations will be sent at the end of January. Sign up for our newsletter.
The most expensive lunch was on Gran Turismo Europa, as is tradition, in the outrageously extravagant beach club Verde Beach, in Saint-Tropez. Gran Turismo Europa has been fully booked since September last year.
Now, lets get to the fun stuff. The total kilometres driven on all road trip events came in at 334 650 kilometres. This is just over eight times the way around the Planet Earth.
So Lets take a quick look at some car-specific stats. During 2024, our group of drivers, which we call La Famiglia, is now more than 6 000 members from all over the world. Each one owns a supercar.
The most popular brands owned by our members. The number represents total cars of the brand in the club.
The most popular models owned by our members. The number represents total cars of the model in the club.
Ferrari 488 Spider is still the most popular car among our drivers. The numbers of Ferrari F8 and 296 GTS are increasing sharply though.
Porsche GT3 completely dominates our track events, as always. In two years from now Porsche 992 GT3 RS will replace the 991 GT3 RS as the most popular track car.
Mercedes-AMG has seen rapid growth the last years but did not gain any more traction in 2024. Drivers are switching back from the GTR to a new Porsche 992 GT3.
Lamborghini did not increase in numbers in 2024. We will see what happens when both new models, Revuelto and Temerario, are being produced and delivered at full speed in Sant'Agata.
Aston Martin is virtually non existent on our events. Maybe one or two cars on our road trips, in total over the entire season. Same goes with Lotus. It is sad, both these brands make great cars.
