More details have been leaked about the new Ferrari GTO. Here is all we know about the coming supercar from Maranello.
The car is based on the Ferrari 812 Superfast, but with much more aero. Much bigger rear diffuser made out of carbon fibre. A redesigned front bumper with larger grill and aggressive styling. Aero vents on the bonnet design, and side vents like on the Ferrari F12 TDF.
The car will have a completely new F1 differential and steering system. It is likely that the car has four-wheel steering, but this is not confirmed.
The base price will be about 600 000 euros. Both a coupe and a targa/GTS version is to be built. The numbers will probably be 999 coupes and 499 Aperta.
Finally, the engine. It will produce a whopping 865 Hp and 900 Nm of torque. The engine will rev up to an insane 10 000 rpm and come with a louder exhaust than the standard 812. With hybridisation and downsizing of engines, this might be the very last great V12 from Ferrari.
More details on the official launch on the 22 of April.
More rumours about the Ferrari 812 GTO and the coming baby Ferrari.
Edit: Apparently, the customer that leaked the information and picture has lost his allocation of the car.
