There are some amazing roads in Croatia and Montenegro. Fantastic layout with many turns, and a scenery that will take your breath away. No wonder the Magistral is one of our top five favourite roads on the planet.
Also, the asphalt quality is surprisingly good. At times, it feels like driving on a pool table, that's how perfectly even the roads are.
Our first big event of the 2022 season was our annual drive on the Adriatic coast. The tour started in Opatija in Croatia, and took us south on the Croatian coast towards Zadar, Split and later Dubrovnik.
During the eight days of the road trip, the group also visited Montenegro and Bosnia. There are some great roads in Montenegro, too, especially the outstanding mountain pass between Budva and Podgorica.
As always, there were thousands of pictures taken from the event by our in-house photographers James Holm and Nicolas Grandi. Here is a small selection.
Next years' edition of Gran Turismo Adriatica is 6-14 of May 2023. The event is not fully booked yet. To register, please e-mail registry@granturismo.org
