An amazing mountain pass in the north of Italy
Tonale Pass, or Passo del Tonale in Italian, is a classic mountain pass in the Trentino / South Tyrol region of Italy. The view is fantastic, and the driving very good, both on the western and eastern side. If you are going from Garda to Como Lake, this is a great alternative to the motorway in the south.
In the winter, Tonale offers skiing and many other winter sports. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants on the peak.
