A fantastic road in the area between Siena and Grosseto
This is a great road that sits between the Tuscan cities of Siena and Grosseto. Fast and fun with endless amount of corners.
If you start from Siena, head towards the town of Frosini, until you pass it. Then you take a right towards a place called Palazzetto - and you will find yourself on the very dynamic SP441.
The road starts out quite fast to warm you up a bit, and then you get into the woods. From here it becomes more twisty, but still rather quick. While this part is very fun, be careful as some corners are always in the shade, thus making the road slick with a layer of dew.
After the intersection in Meleta where you take a right, you come out of the forest, for the final descent into Montemassi. The road comes down the hillside in a very distinct series of left-right-left esses, akin to the first sector at Suzuka race track.
When you finally reach the hairpin at Montemassi - the view dramatically opens up overlooking the entire valley below, reaching as far as the coastline in the East on a clear day.
A perfect companion on your next road trip to the most beautiful country in the world.
