A beautiful mountain pass near Bolzano
Mendola Pass, or Passo della Mendola in Italian, is a beautiful road between the valley of Bolzano to the high plateau to the west.
The lower sections are wide and invite to quite inspired driving, perfect for a supercar, while the upper sections close to the peak are a bit more narrow. Stunning views and a great drive.
At the peak, you can either continue west to Passo Tonale, or south towards Garda Lake. If you drive south, we highly recommend SS421 that goes past the village of Molveno and later all the way to Garda Lake. Extremely pretty.
