Grotta Palezzese is an exceptionally beautiful restaurant located in the village of Polignano a Mare, near Bari. The restaurant is set in a cave right at the water's edge. You are most likely to recognize the restaurant from postcards and pictures. This is a very famous place.

The environment is spectacular. There is probably no other restaurant in the world that is as beautiful. In addition, the food is very good. However, the prices are unbelievably high. Expect at least 180 euros per person for a lunch or dinner. At least. Then wine is added. A beer costs 35 euros.

This is a restaurant most people probably only visit once in a lifetime. But the memories will last. This is a bucket list item.

Reserve a table? Absolutely. Preferably far in advance. Applies to both lunch and dinner. Please note that the restaurant is closed during the winter months. Open between Easter and the end of October.
