We will start the 2025 season with our annual road trip on the Adriatic coast – using the famous Magistral road to begin with.
Starting out in Opatija, we first drive South towards the Brown Beach Housel in Trogir, before continuing to Mostar with the red carpet, followed by two nights in the fantastic Regent hotel in Porto Montenegro.
Then we keep going South on our way to Tirana, for one night before heading East into a new adventure which is North Macedonia and Skopje. Afterwards, we will drive across the border to the EU into Sofia, Bulgaria for the final evening of the event.
We meet in Opatija at Hotel Ambasador on Saturday, the 3rd of May. You can relax from your trip today, while the team prepares your cars for the event ahead. In the evening, we will have dinner and the driver's briefing. We will have some advice to prepare you for this exciting road trip with your supercar.
The next seven days we enjoy the most stunning roads and views the Adriatic coast and the region have to offer. The Magistral, Montenegro, Red Carpet in Mostar, Albania, North Macedonia and of course Skopje..
Every day will consist of about three to four hours of driving. We will also stop for lunches, pictures, historic monuments, or just great views – and there is no shortage of those in Croatia and Montenegro.
Ready? Here we go. This is the complete schedule for Gran Turismo Adriatica.
The starting point of the event is in the tranquil seaside city of Opatija and Hotel Ambasador. Check-in to the event starts at 14:00. At about 19:30 we have a welcome mingle in the bar, before heading for dinner within the hotel an hour later.

We start off on the Magistral North immediately after leaving the Opatija and Rijeka municipal area. What follows is about three hours before lunch in the coastal town of Karlobag, and another exciting driving leg down to Trogir, all the while taking what is arguably the best road in the Adriatic.
In the afternoon, after about an hour on the highway, we arrive to Trogir and the Brown Beach House. Dinner in the hotel restaurant..

Today it is a slightly shorter driving day. We head further south down the coast, until reaching the coastal town of Makarska Then, we drive up the side of the Biokovo mountain, until we reach the highway, and later on Mostar and Hotel Mepas.. Tonight, we have dinner in the lovely restaurant nearby to the famous old bridge.

Today we will drive south towards Stolac and Ljubinje, before making our way to Trebinje for lunch. The road before lunch is absolutely great, atop the hilly plateaus of Herzegovina..
In Trebinje we will have lunch in Hotel Bellevue, and then continue South towards the Montenegrin border. The road before the border tends to be very slick, but is beautiful nonetheless. After the border, the road becomes completely new, and stays like this all the way into the beautiful bay of Kotor and Tivat, which will be our home for the next two nights.

Today, we start later than normal, at 11.00. The drive will take us to Budva, where we will turn up the exhilarating and fast hillclimb up the mountainside, all the way to Podgorica, where we turn around, and take the old and twisty road back to the Montenegrin coast.
The loop is completed upon our arrival to Budva, where we will park by the old city walls with plenty of locals welcoming us to their hometown. We will have lunch in the harbour, before completing the final thirty minute leg back to Porto Montenegro.
Of course, if you prefer to stay at the hotel and relax by the pool, you are welcome to do so.

We head down the Montenegrin Coast through Budva and Bar, until we reach the Albanian border. Shortly afterwards we hop on the superfast and new motorway system all the way to Tirana and Hotel MAK in the centre of Tirana.

Today – we go on an adventure into North Macedonia. The day starts at 10:00 heading south using the Albanian motorways, until we get off in Elbasan, and head East towards the Macedonian Border. We will take country roads from here all the way until Skopje.
We will stop for lunch on Ohrid Lake, in North Macedonia, before the final leg into Skopje.

We begin the final leg of our wonderful road trip heading East towards Bulgaria and Skopje, back into the EU. The driving is about four hours through the largely untouched natural landscapes of both countries.
Arrival in Sofia at 16:00 with guarded parking in the very centre of Sofia. Dinner in the old town at 20:00
