Coming up - Budapest and Hungaroring!

16-19 August. In just two weeks it is time for a much anticipated newcomer to our schedule - Gran Turismo Hungaria. The event is set in Budapest - probably the most exciting city in Europe. It also looks quite good. (Second most beautiful city in Europe, according to Conde Nast. Paris is number one)

We stay in Hotel Intercontinental. The hotel is located in the middle of city. On the Danube river, right beside the famous Chain Bridge along the Danube Promenade. The hotel location is perfect, walking distance to all the fun Budapest has to offer. It also has a great parking garage for our cars.








Hungaroring

But wait, there is more! There is also a little racing circuit here. The Hungaroring. It is mostly used for insignificant competitions like Formula one and DTM. We have two days on the track with experienced instructors to show us the correct line and how to drive quite fast indeed without hitting any concrete walls, barriers or marshals. Incredibly enough, we have also managed to organise lunch on the track both days between 12 and 13.

Evenings

The first night we have dinner (and a drivers briefing) in the hotel. The following two evenings we have dinner in the city, in Cyrano and the famous restaurant Spoon. Oh, and the stories you have heard about Budapest are all true - the nightlife is epic. We are staying in Budapest both a Friday and a Saturday night. The possibilities are endless.

The event starts on Wednesday the 16th of August. At the moment we are about 50 cars going. We still have availability for the event, however we only have one place left on one of the four trailers leaving Scandinavia with the cars. (four full trailers with supercars leaving Scandinavia is a record for us)

Gran Turismo Slovakia 2017

20 - 23 August

While you are at it, why don’t join us for our event in Bratislava and Slovakia Ring, too? The event is only one day after Gran Turismo Hungaria. If you join both, we are inviting you for an extra night in Budapest (Saturday night) for free. The drive between Budapest and Bratislava is just two hours on very fine motorways.
